  1. Dragapult ex

    Psychic / Darkness spread

🏆 1st, Regional Louisville, KY — Riley McKay, 10 Oct 2026 (2,927 players). The same 60 cards came 5th at Regional Nice.

Dreepy evolves through Drakloak into Dragapult ex, whose Phantom Dive does 200 damage and puts 6 more damage counters on your opponent’s Bench however you like — so it sets up Knock Outs two and three at a time. Munkidori’s Adrena-Brain moves damage counters onto the opponent, and Dudunsparce draws cards. The deck everyone else has to beat. The runner-up at Louisville paired it with Blaziken ex.

Key cards: Dragapult ex, Drakloak, Munkidori, Dudunsparce, Lillie’s Determination, Buddy-Buddy Poffin, Crushing Hammer

  2. Alakazam & Dusknoir

    Psychic

🏆 1st and 2nd, Regional Frankfurt — Tomasz Chałupka and Mateusz Łaszkiewicz, 26 Sept 2026 (2,793 players), with the same list.

Alakazam’s Powerful Hand places 2 damage counters on the Active Pokémon for every card in your hand, and its Psychic Draw draws three when it evolves. Dusknoir’s Cursed Blast puts 13 damage counters on any Pokémon at the cost of itself, to finish what Alakazam starts. Rare Candy skips straight to the Stage 2s.

Key cards: Alakazam, Kadabra, Dusknoir, Rare Candy, Hilda, Dawn, Poké Pad

  3. Festival Lead (Dipplin & Thwackey)

    Grass, no Pokémon ex

3rd, Regional Frankfurt — Eliot Duclos, 26 Sept 2026 (2,793 players). A Seaking version came 4th at Nice.

With Festival Grounds in play, Pokémon with the Festival Lead Ability can attack twice. Dipplin’s Do the Wave does 20 damage for each of your Benched Pokémon, Thwackey’s Boom Boom Groove searches out any card, and Rabsca shields your Bench from attacks. Every Pokémon gives up only one Prize card.

Key cards: Dipplin, Thwackey, Rabsca, Festival Grounds, Buddy-Buddy Poffin, Brave Bangle

Three ways to get your Pokémon deck

What you get, and what you do not

A custom deck at Iconic means the exact list you want, supplied from our singles. The deck builder matches every card against live stock, picks the cheapest printing of each one we hold, and adds the lot to your basket. Everything arrives together in one parcel.

We are clear about the limits. We do not hand-build decks to order or sell pre-built custom decks — you choose the list. If you add sleeves in the deck builder, we sleeve the deck for you before it ships. If we are out of a card, the builder tells you before you pay rather than leaving a gap in the box.

How much does a custom Pokémon deck cost?

Less than most people expect, because a deck is mostly common Trainers and support Pokémon. On 26 October 2026 the Dragapult ex list that won Regional Louisville — the most-played deck in the format — had all 60 cards in stock with us for £95.90 — one Drakloak only as a £7 Illustration Rare, which the builder leaves unticked so you can choose. The live stock line on each deck above is checked every time the page loads, so it is always today's figure rather than a number we typed in.

For a cheaper start, a sealed League Battle Deck is a complete legal 60 cards in one box; our guide to battle decks and league decks compares them, and the cheapest way to build a Pokémon deck in the UK explains the singles maths.

Make it tournament ready

Standard decks are exactly 60 cards, with no more than four copies of a card by name (basic Energy excepted), at least one Basic Pokémon and one ACE SPEC at most. Cards need regulation mark H, I or J. Finish the deck with sleeves and a deck box — the builder offers both alongside your cards.

Custom deck FAQs

Can I buy a custom Pokémon deck in the UK?
Yes. Paste any decklist or Limitless TCG link into the Iconic deck builder and every card we stock goes into one basket, priced in pounds and posted from the UK. We supply the singles; we do not hand-build decks to order.
Do you sell pre-built competitive Pokémon decks?
Not custom ones. We sell sealed Battle Decks and Championship Decks, and for competitive lists the deck builder lets you buy a tournament deck card for card from our singles.
How much does a competitive Pokémon deck cost?
On 26 October 2026 we had all 60 cards of the Regional Louisville-winning Dragapult ex list for £95.90 (one card only as a pricier Illustration Rare). Prices vary by deck, so each list on our best-decks page shows a live in-stock count and price.
What if you do not have every card in my list?
The deck builder shows exactly which cards we are missing before you check out, with links to the card pages, so you can buy the rest now and find the gaps later.
Can I change a tournament list before buying it?
Yes. Open the deck in the builder, untick any lines you already own, or paste an edited version of the list. Only the cards you leave ticked go into your basket.
