This page separates what The Pokémon Company has confirmed in English from what is expected because it appeared in the Japanese set first. We will keep it updated as reveals land. For dates and products rather than cards, see our Delta Reign release date guide.
Which Delta Reign cards have been officially revealed?
Five, on pokemon.com itself, as of 8 October 2026. Pokémon's own sneak peek showed these cards with their English numbers:
| Card | Number | Rarity |
|---|---|---|
| Hypno | DLR 44 | Regular card |
| Kecleon | DLR 83 | Regular card |
| Legendary Pyroduct (Stadium pair) | DLR 94 and 95 | Legendary Stadium |
| Enamorus | DLR 110 | Illustration Rare |
| Aarune | DLR 139 | Special Illustration Rare |
Collector databases list more English cards with numbers, including Mega Golisopod ex (11), Mega Golurk ex (47), Mega Malamar ex (69) and Mega Rayquaza ex (84) as regular double rares, a second Legendary Stadium called Legendary Summit (96 and 97), and an Azurill Illustration Rare (115). Those numbers come from early set lists rather than Pokémon's own announcements, so treat them as very likely but not final.
What are the Delta Reign chase cards?
Mega Rayquaza ex, almost certainly. It is the face of the set and the first Mega Rayquaza in the English game since XY—Ancient Origins in 2015. In Japan's Storm Emeralda, the two most wanted cards are its Special Art Rare, illustrated by Kazuki Minami, and its gold Mega Ultra Rare. Both are expected in English as a Special Illustration Rare and a Mega Hyper Rare, but neither had been shown in English at the time of writing.
Storm Emeralda has six Special Art Rares, which lines up with the six Special Illustration Rares Pokémon has confirmed for Delta Reign. Based on the Japanese set, they are expected to be:
- Mega Rayquaza ex
- Mega Golurk ex
- Mega Golisopod ex
- Raikou ex
- Zinnia's Trust
- Aarune — already confirmed in English as DLR 139
If history is any guide, the Mega Rayquaza Special Illustration Rare and gold card will sit well above everything else in price. Across the Mega Evolution era so far, the dearest card in each set has almost always been the headline Pokémon's Special Illustration Rare or Mega Hyper Rare. On 8 October 2026, for example, we listed the Pitch Black Mega Darkrai ex Special Illustration Rare at £155 and its Mega Hyper Rare at £135. Our Pitch Black price guide shows how wide the gap gets.
Which Illustration Rares are expected?
Fourteen, according to Pokémon. Matching the Japanese set suggests eleven come from Storm Emeralda's Art Rares — Masquerain, Growlithe, Magmortar, Electivire, Pincurchin, Enamorus, Groudon, Inkay, Azurill, Altaria and Kecleon — and three from the starter decks: Eevee, Zorua and Sprigatito. Kyogre drops out of the booster set because it becomes the full-art Elite Trainer Box promo. Enamorus is the only one of these Pokémon has shown in English so far.
Illustration Rares are the cards we expect to sell steadily as singles: cheaper than the Special Illustration Rares, but some (an Eevee in particular) tend to attract collectors well beyond the players who need them. If you are unsure what the stars and symbols on a card mean, our rarity symbols guide explains each one.
What are Legendary Stadiums?
A new card type for Delta Reign: two Stadium cards played together as a pair, with artwork that joins into one extended picture. Pokémon has confirmed Legendary Pyroduct as DLR 94 and 95, and the set has three Legendary Stadiums made up of six Stadium cards in total. Reports from Japan say a pack containing one half contains both, so you should not end up with an orphaned half.
How is Delta Reign different from Japan's Storm Emeralda?
It is bigger. Storm Emeralda has 113 cards, 76 in the main set and 37 secret rares. Delta Reign adds cards from three Japanese MEGA starter decks (Eevee ex, Zoroark ex and Meowscarada ex), which is why the English main set is expected to run to about 103 cards. The secret rare count is very similar: 37 in both, if Pokémon's 14 + 17 + 6 breakdown is complete.
If you cannot wait, Iconic Trading Cards stocks Storm Emeralda Japanese booster packs at £5.00 each, and they are in stock now. Japanese packs are smaller and differ in card stock and pull structure; our Japanese vs English guide explains the trade-offs.
Should you open packs or wait for singles?
It depends on what you want. If you enjoy opening, the Delta Reign booster box (36 packs, £164.95) gives the lowest cost per pack, and the Elite Trainer Box (£64.00) adds the Kyogre promo. If you want one particular card — a Mega Rayquaza for your binder, or four Legendary Pyroduct halves for a deck — buying the single is almost always cheaper than chasing it in packs.
| Delta Reign product | Packs | Iconic price |
|---|---|---|
| Booster pack | 1 | £7.95 |
| Booster bundle | 6 | £29.95 |
| Elite Trainer Box | 9 | £64.00 |
| Booster box | 36 | £164.95 |

Delta Reign singles will be added once the set is out. Meanwhile every earlier Mega Evolution card is in Mega Evolution singles, and older Rayquaza printings are gathered in our Rayquaza cards collection. Pre-orders from Iconic Trading Cards are dispatched on or around the official release date, and UK delivery on sealed product is £3.95.
What do we still not know?
The final printed set number, English numbers for the Mega Pokémon ex Special Illustration Rares, and the gold Mega Rayquaza's English number have not been officially published. We have left out leaked numbers that contradict the Japanese list, fan names for cards that have official English names (the Supporter is Aarune; the Stadium is Legendary Pyroduct), and every pull-rate figure. Pokémon does not publish pull rates, so any you see are estimates.
Frequently asked questions
How many cards are in Delta Reign?
The Pokémon Company says Delta Reign has over 135 cards, including more than 20 Trainer cards and over 35 cards with special illustrations. Its published breakdown lists 14 Illustration Rares, 17 Ultra Rares and 6 Special Illustration Rares, and card lists from collector databases put the main set at 103 cards. A final printed total has not been confirmed by Pokémon.
What is the chase card in Delta Reign?
Mega Rayquaza ex is the headline Pokémon, and in Japan's Storm Emeralda set its Special Art Rare and gold Mega Ultra Rare are the two most sought-after cards. English versions of both are expected in Delta Reign, but neither has been officially shown in English yet, so treat them as expected rather than confirmed.
Is Delta Reign the same as Storm Emeralda?
Not exactly. Delta Reign is built mainly from Japan's Storm Emeralda set, released on 31 July 2026, plus cards from Japan's MEGA starter decks, which is why the English main set is larger. A few cards also move around: the Japanese Kyogre Art Rare becomes the Elite Trainer Box promo in English.
What are Legendary Stadiums in Delta Reign?
They are a new kind of card: two Stadium cards played as a pair, whose artwork joins into one picture. Pokémon has confirmed Legendary Pyroduct as cards 94 and 95. Delta Reign has three Legendary Stadiums, made up of six Stadium cards.
When can I buy Delta Reign singles?
Single cards appear once the set is out on 6 November 2026 and the cards have been sorted and graded for condition. Until then you can pre-order sealed Delta Reign product, and Japanese Storm Emeralda booster packs are already in stock at Iconic Trading Cards.
Are there official pull rates for Delta Reign?
No. The Pokémon Company does not publish pull rates for English sets, so any odds you see quoted for Delta Reign are someone's estimate from opening product. We would treat early figures with real caution.
