Updated 28 September 2026 Iconic Trading Cards

Disney Lorcana booster display

Hyperia City is the next Disney Lorcana set, and Ravensburger has confirmed it releases everywhere on 23 October 2026, with prerelease events at participating game shops from 16 October. It is the fourteenth main set, trading the overgrown wilds of the last storyline for a city where, in Ravensburger’s own words, "metro meets fantasy". Its headline addition is Pixar’s Coco, joining Lorcana for the first time. Products, prices and pre-orders live on our Hyperia City pre-order page.

When does Disney Lorcana Hyperia City come out?

23 October 2026 is the general release date, and 16 October 2026 is the prerelease. Both dates come straight from Ravensburger’s official product page, so they are as firm as anything gets this far out — though publishers do occasionally move a date, and we will update this guide if that happens.

That one-week gap is now the standard Lorcana pattern: participating game shops run prerelease events on the earlier weekend, where you build a deck from a prerelease box on the day, and the set goes on general sale the following Friday. For the wider picture, our UK TCG release calendar tracks every game month by month, and every Lorcana set in order covers the thirteen sets before this one.

What is Hyperia City about?

It is an urban set with a darker undercurrent. Ravensburger describes Hyperia City as a town where "metro meets fantasy", populated by "heroes, princesses, and a magical wizard or two", with music and art bringing the streets to life — but adds that "something nefarious is happening in the back alleys and waterways".

That framing matters for what the cards look like as much as for the story. The revealed locations lean into the city conceit rather than classic Disney backdrops: Khan Industries – Greenway Landmark, Khan Stadium – State of the Art, and Institute of Technology – Honey Lemon’s Lab, which pulls Big Hero 6 into the setting. Land of the Dead – Marigold Bridge sits alongside them, so the Coco material appears to be woven into the city rather than kept in a separate corner of it.

Which characters are in Hyperia City?

Coco is the confirmed debut. Ravensburger has revealed Miguel Rivera and Hector Rivera, both carrying the version name Street Musician, plus Pepita as a card and the song Un Poco Loco. That makes Hyperia City the second Lorcana set to draw on Pixar, after Wilds Unknown brought in Toy Story, The Incredibles and Brave in May 2026.

Ravensburger’s set announcement on 22 September filled in much more. WALL•E and EVE make their first Lorcana appearance, princess glimmers include Aurora, Cinderella, Tiana and Rapunzel, and Zootopia’s Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde feature. Big Hero 6’s Honey Lemon works at M.A.G.I.C., the city’s academy, experimenting with the new ink technology. The two cards at the very top of the rarity ladder are the Iconic cards Mickey Mouse – Best in Town and Cinderella – Unintentional Icon. Ravensburger has also said that serialised Illustrious cards are found only in Collector Boosters. If you are new to the game, our Disney Lorcana beginner’s guide is the place to start.

What are ink drops in Hyperia City?

Ink drops are the set’s new mechanic. An ink drop is a counter that gives you one-time-use ink, which you can spend to play a card from your hand or to empower other cards. Ravensburger expects it to change the tempo of a game, since it lets a player jump ahead of their inkwell for a turn. We expect it to reshape competitive decks.

What Hyperia City products are confirmed?

Four, at the time of writing: booster packs, booster display boxes, the Illumineer’s Trove and prerelease boxes. Contents are only partly detailed, and no UK RRPs have been published, so treat the pricing question as genuinely open for now.

Product What is confirmed Available
Booster packs The standard way to add cards to a collection or a deck 23 Oct 2026
Booster display box 24 booster packs of 12 cards 23 Oct 2026
Illumineer’s Trove Eight booster packs, six damage dice and a spin-dial lore counter 23 Oct 2026
Prerelease box An exclusive poster and a promo card, used at prerelease events 16 Oct 2026 (events)
Illumineer’s Quest: The Great Hunny Rescue Standalone co-op box — not part of set 14 2 Oct 2026

Worth separating out that last row: The Great Hunny Rescue is a co-operative Illumineer’s Quest box arriving three weeks earlier, on 2 October 2026, and it sits outside the numbered sets. It holds a 50-card scenario deck, two 60-card player decks, ten Vine Tendril cards, six encounter cards, two prize packs, thirty tokens and a game board — you play it against the box rather than another person.

Should you pre-order Hyperia City?

If you want sealed product on day one, yes — pre-ordering is the reliable route, because allocations on Lorcana displays have tightened noticeably over the last year. If you only want a handful of specific cards, waiting for singles is almost always cheaper than opening packs to chase them.

Hyperia City listings will appear on our Hyperia City pre-order page, in our pre-orders collection and in the main Disney Lorcana collection once Iconic Trading Cards has its allocation confirmed — we do not list what we cannot commit to supplying. Pre-orders are dispatched on or around the official release date, so a Hyperia City order would ship in the days around 23 October. UK delivery is £3.95 and free over £90; orders containing only single cards ship for a flat £1.75.

Where a drop is genuinely limited, stock goes to the Iconic loyalty tier first, and anything left over is offered through a free draw among our email subscribers — entry costs nothing. That is deliberate: it beats a first-past-the-post scramble that rewards whoever happens to be refreshing at the right minute.

What do we still not know?

Quite a lot, and it is worth being straight about it. The total card count is unannounced — recent sets have run to just over 200 cards, with Attack of the Vine! at 207, but Ravensburger has not confirmed a number for Hyperia City. Ink drops are now confirmed as the new mechanic, but there is still no published UK RRP for any product in the range.

Anything you read elsewhere quoting a firm card count or price is an estimate, not a confirmed fact. We will update this guide as Ravensburger publishes more. In the meantime the previous set shows what a modern Lorcana release looks like — sealed Attack of the Vine! product and its singles are both on the site now.

Frequently asked questions

When is Disney Lorcana Hyperia City released?

Hyperia City releases everywhere on 23 October 2026, with prerelease events at participating game shops from 16 October 2026. Both dates are confirmed on Ravensburger’s official product page. Publishers do occasionally shift a date, so treat anything that contradicts the official listing as speculation.

Is Hyperia City Lorcana set 14?

Yes. It is the fourteenth main numbered Lorcana set, following Attack of the Vine!, which released on 24 July 2026. The standalone Illumineer’s Quest co-operative boxes sit outside that numbering and do not count towards it.

Does Hyperia City include Coco cards?

Yes — Coco joins Disney Lorcana for the first time in this set. Miguel Rivera and Hector Rivera have both been revealed as Street Musician, alongside Pepita, the song Un Poco Loco and the location Land of the Dead – Marigold Bridge. The full Coco card list has not been published yet.

What are ink drops in Disney Lorcana?

Ink drops are the new mechanic in Hyperia City: a counter that gives you one-time-use ink to play a card from your hand or empower other cards.

What is in a Hyperia City Illumineer’s Trove?

Ravensburger has confirmed eight booster packs, six damage dice and a spin-dial lore counter. Troves in previous sets have also carried a deck box and a rules insert, but the full Hyperia City contents list has not been published, so treat anything beyond those three items as expected rather than confirmed.

How much will Hyperia City cost in the UK?

No UK RRP has been announced for any Hyperia City product yet. Iconic Trading Cards lists pre-orders only once an allocation and a price are confirmed, so the collection pages are the honest answer on any given day. UK delivery is £3.95 and free over £90, and singles-only orders ship for a flat £1.75.

Can I pre-order Hyperia City from Iconic Trading Cards?

Listings go live in our pre-orders and Disney Lorcana collections as soon as our allocation is confirmed. Pre-orders are dispatched on or around the official release date of 23 October 2026. Where a drop is limited, our loyalty tier gets first refusal and the remainder goes to a free draw among email subscribers, which is free to enter.
