Riftbound Radiance release date, products and pre-orders (UK)

Riftbound: Radiance, the fifth set for Riot's League of Legends trading card game, releases on 23 October 2026. Pre-Rift events run in game stores the week before. It has 180 cards, over 60 of them Showcase treatments, and nine new Legends including Seraphine, Evelynn, Ekko, Jarvan and Ziggs. The range is booster displays, the Vault, Showdown Decks and Pre-Rift Kits. Each product appears on our Radiance pre-order page as soon as it can be ordered.

When is Riftbound Radiance released?

23 October 2026, in English, French and Chinese. The release follows Riftbound's usual pattern. Pre-Rift events at participating game stores come first, with players building decks from Pre-Rift Kits, and the set goes on general sale the following week. Iconic Trading Cards dispatches Radiance pre-orders on or around 23 October. Release dates are set by the publisher and can occasionally move.

What is new in Radiance?

Radiance is a big set for new mechanics. Riot's set overview lists five:

• Deploy: Gear that is played only to a Battlefield and helps you while it's there. It's destroyed if an opponent holds that Battlefield.
• Show Off: reveal a qualifying card from your hand or board to unlock an extra effect on the card you played.
• Disarm: reduces an enemy Unit's Might during attacks, and stacks the way Assault does.
• Equipment Units: Equipment that can become a Unit, unequipping itself when it transforms.
• Bombs: a new token type, where the more you play, the bigger the payoff.

Music runs through the set. Seraphine is on the Showdown Decks and box art, each of the nine new Legends has an Overnumber version, and the Alt Art Runes are music-themed.

What's in a Radiance booster pack?

Riot has published the layout. Each pack has 7 Commons, 3 Uncommons, a foil slot (Common, Uncommon, Rare or Epic), a Rare or Epic, and one slot that can be a Rare, Epic, Alt Art, Special Alt Art, Overnumber or Ultimate Rare. The final slot is a Token, Rune or Alt Art Rune. Crystal Rose Special Alt Arts appear at the same rate as regular Alt Arts. The Ultimate Rare is described as rarer than any before it, in about 0.025% of packs: roughly one in four thousand.

Which Radiance products are coming?

Riot has not published UK prices. The US suggested price for a booster display has been widely reported at $120, but UK prices are set by each retailer.

Should you pre-order Radiance?

If you want a display at launch, yes. Riftbound's early sets sold through quickly, and a first-print Origins display now costs far more than it did at launch. Pre-ordering is the dependable way to get a box at launch pricing. If you're new and just want to learn the game, the Showdown Decks or the Vault are gentler, cheaper starting points.
